Sending Our Love to Hawaii

Aloha my dear friends,

As you may have heard, there has been an unimaginably terrible fire on Maui, effecting 1,000’s of our fellow Americans. At the time of writing this, there have been over 100 souls lost, and that number is expected to rise. I know that I'm not alone in feeling deeply saddened by this event. If you’ve been to that area before, you know how much beauty it possesses and that there are so many beautiful people living there who need help.

For this reason, I would like to encourage people to support them in any way that they can. As an incentive, I would like to offer a FREE private yoga class (or semi-private, you can invite a loved-one as well), to anyone who donates $25 or more to a charity that serves Hawaii in it’s time of need.

Simply donate $25 or more to any organization that supports Maui and let me know by either responding to this email, or you can text me at 609-722-1111. Any amount is fine, and I don’t need proof of any kind. Just let me know you did so, that’s enough.

It can be difficult emotionally to bear witness to others suffering. For me, I find yoga and meditation extremely helpful. If you’re interested, I suggest checking out this short video by Jack Kornfield. He is a mindfulness and loving kindness meditation teacher.
