As we approach the winter solstice, which is the shortest day of the year on December 21st, the world is busy and filled with anticipation, and for some of us, dread. With all the parties, family gatherings, shopping and eating (or is that just me?), we can easily feel overwhelmed and exhausted.
Be sure to take time to enjoy the little moments in life that give you joy and to create a few moments of quiet for yourself. Even if it's just a few minutes locking yourself in the bathroom to get away from the rest of the family (hopefully, they won't follow you in there).
